Negotiators for Trent University and the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, representing Local 365, have reached a tentative collective agreement.
Both bargaining teams have agreed to recommend the proposed deal to their respective parties. The agreement must still be ratified by OPSEU Local 365 members and approved by Trent University’s Board of Governors before it takes effect.
The union says members will receive information about an upcoming ratification meeting.
Details of the tentative agreement will remain confidential until the ratification process is complete and will be released through joint communications afterward.
OPSEU Local 365 represents more than 520 employees at Trent University.
