STUFF TO DO
Thursday: Celebrate summer with the start of Scottish Tea Season at Hutchison House. Scottish Teas will continue every Tuesday through Sunday until September 6 from 1-4 p.m. Tea will be served on the terrace in the period garden, along with fresh baked scones, preserves and more. Complimentary tours of the 1840’s restored stone house are included in the price of admission, which ranges from $5-15 for children to adults.
Friday: Residents are invited to celebrate the Community Counselling and Resource Centre’s 70th anniversary at its offices on George Street North from 1:30-3 p.m. Founded in 1956, the organization has spent seven decades providing professional counselling and housing support services across Peterborough City, County and beyond.
Saturday: Juno Award-winning Canadian folk trio Good Lovelies are set to take the Peterborough Musicfest stage Saturday night. The concert will run from 8-9:30 p.m. at Del Crary Park.
