A 44-year-old Peterborough man is in custody after police say he was arrested while wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.
Peterborough police say officers on general patrol located the man around 11 p.m. on June 25, in the area of Donegal Street and McDonnel Street.
Police confirmed the individual was wanted on three outstanding warrants, including charges related to theft under $5,000 (four counts), possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (three counts), use of a credit card, failure to attend court, and a warrant of committal.
The man was taken into custody without incident.
He is currently being held and is scheduled to appear in court on June 26.
