The Peterborough Petes have added to their draft capital ahead of this weekend’s Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
Petes General Manager and Vice President of Hockey Operations Michael Oke announced the club has acquired a sixth-round pick in the 2026 OHL Priority Selection from the Ottawa 67’s.
In exchange, Peterborough sent the Soo Greyhounds’ sixth-round selection in the 2029 OHL Priority Selection to Ottawa.
The move gives the Petes an additional selection in this year’s draft as the organization continues to build for the future.
The 2026 OHL Priority Selection begins Friday night at Slush Puppie Place in Kingston, with the opening round scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Rounds two through 15 will follow on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
Peterborough holds the 13th overall pick in the first round and has been active in recent weeks as the club prepares for the annual draft.
