Local singers and musicians will again be featured by Peterborough Musicfest on Wednesday and Saturday concert nights at Del Crary Park.
The Future Sound Series will see local talent perform at 6:30 p.m. just inside the George Street entrance to the park. A total of 14 acts are scheduled to perform, starting on festival opening night June 27 when Irish Millie kicks things off prior to Gowan taking to the main stage.
Musicfest executive director Tracey Randall notes the success of last year’s Future Sound pilot made bringing it back this season a no brainer.
Randall says Future Sound series answers the call for more local talent being showcased in the park.
Randall is thrilled Musicfest is able to play a part in local musicians’ respective journeys.
Musicfest will continues until August 19th and the season-ending concert by The Dreamboats.
