STUFF TO DO
Friday: The ReFrame Film Festival and First Peoples House of Learning are putting on “Just Get Over It” from 1 – 4 p.m. at Ernest & Florence Benedict Gathering Space. This is a highly interactive workshop.
Friday: Rubidge Retirement is hosting their Annual Open House on Friday and Saturday. You can see what retirement living should feel like. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday: Celebrate the summer launch of the expanded skatepark with a day of skateboarding demonstrations, lessons and music at Bonnerworth Park, 560 McDonnel St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Lions Club is hosting a fundraising barbecue beginning at noon.
Saturday: You’re invited to Mini Bucks Bid Euchre at Mapleridge Recreation Centre. The fun gets going at 11:15 a.m. Organizers say that this is not for beginners.
