Northumberland OPP are investigating after an altercation involving multiple people and a weapon was reported in Roseneath.
Police say officers were called shortly before 8 p.m. on May 4, to a residence on Hall Road, where two individuals were reported to be involved in an altercation. It was also reported that a weapon was involved. All parties are known to one another.
When police arrived, the individuals involved had left the scene. A vehicle description was provided.
Emergency Medical Services attended and assessed one person for non-serious injuries. A Scenes of Crime Officer also assisted with the investigation.
At around 9 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description, but the suspect was not inside.
Further investigation led officers to an address on County Road 22 in the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand, where several individuals were taken into custody around 10 p.m.
Police say no additional suspects are being sought. The investigation is continuing by the OPP Crime Unit.
