Peterborough Musicfest is set to welcome Canadian country artist Tyler Joe Miller to the Fred Anderson Stage for the first time this summer.
Miller will perform Wednesday, July 15 at 8 p.m. at Del Crary Park.
Known for a steady climb through Canada’s country scene, Miller first broke out with his Gold-certified debut single “Pillow Talkin’,” which reached No. 1. He followed that with “I Would Be Over Me Too,” becoming the first independent Canadian country artist to achieve back-to-back No. 1 singles.
Since then, he has recorded nine Top 10 hits and earned industry recognition including a 2021 SiriusXM Top of the Country win, along with JUNO and Canadian Country Music Association nominations. His most recent EP, Going Home, was nominated for CCMA Album of the Year and continues to focus on themes of love, loss and resilience.
Miller is also scheduled to appear at the CCMA Awards in September, where he is nominated for Male Artist of the Year and Fans’ Choice.
Musicfest organizers say the performance marks a chance to catch an artist who has already made a national impact while continuing to build momentum in the Canadian country music scene.
Two other acts for this summer were announced already, with Gowan set to headline opening night on June 27 and Dwayne Gretzky taking to the stage on July 29.
