Ontario Provincial Police are looking to identify four individuals following a break-in at a vacant former bank in Coboconk over the weekend.
Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP were called to the former banking facility on Albert Street on Monday, October 26, after receiving a report of a break-in.
Investigators say the incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24.
According to police, the building was vacant but had been secured, meaning force was required to gain entry.
Surveillance footage provided to officers showed four males entering the building and walking around inside while taking photographs.
Police say the individuals remained inside for approximately 15 minutes before leaving.
Because the former bank was empty, investigators say there was nothing inside to steal.
No arrests or charges have been announced.
OPP are now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the four individuals captured in the surveillance images.
Anyone who was in the Albert Street area around 3:30 p.m. Saturday, or who recognizes any of the individuals involved, is encouraged to contact police.
Information can be provided to the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
Police are asking callers to reference occurrence number E261552035.
