A 21-year-old Peterborough man is facing two voyeurism charges following a 13-month police investigation into a camera discovered inside a private washroom at Seneca Polytechnic’s flight school at the Peterborough Airport.
Peterborough Police say the investigation began in late August 2025 after a camera device was located in the washroom and turned over to security.
Officers were contacted and launched an investigation that eventually led to the identification of a suspect and several victims.
Police say the suspect was a student at the flight school.
On October 16, officers attended the facility at the Peterborough Airport and arrested the suspect without incident.
Several electronic devices were also seized from the accused as part of the ongoing investigation.
The accused has been charged with two counts of voyeurism. He was released on an undertaking with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on January 5.
Police have not released the accused’s name or provided further details about the victims.
Investigators have also not disclosed how long the camera may have been in the washroom or what information may have been recorded.
The Peterborough Police Service thanked Seneca Polytechnic for its cooperation throughout the investigation.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing and no additional information will be released at this time.
