PTBOToday.ca asked councillor candidates to submit a brief bio, recent photo and short audio-recorded statement to represent their campaign.
Northcrest has been my home for over thirty years. My wife and I are raising four boys here – I’ve volunteered here, performed here, and cheered from the sidelines at rugby games in every kind of weather. This isn’t a stepping stone for me. It’s home.
I spent twelve years as a litigation lawyer before walking away to build something new – twice. Today I run two independent businesses: a professional voice acting career and a private music teaching practice. Early on, I worked in community economic development, helping launch businesses aimed at creating real opportunities for youth. That work taught me how communities actually function – and how creative thinking, not just more spending, is what changes outcomes.
I’ve performed on stage with the Peterborough Theatre Guild, served as Music Director for a St. James Players production, and played in a number of local bands over the years. But these days you’ll find me singing with the Peterborough Pop Ensemble, the city’s official Musical Ambassadors, where I once served as President.
Northcrest is growing fast and facing real challenges. I’m running because I believe this ward deserves fresh thinking, real accountability, and someone who’ll see things through.
