Ashley is a respected community leader, entrepreneur, and local business owner committed to building a stronger, more connected Peterborough. Raised in Ashburnham and rooted in East City, she has earned a reputation for turning ideas into meaningful action that supports residents, strengthens neighbourhoods, and helps local businesses thrive.
Her leadership has been recognized with the Rotary Paul Harris Community Recognition, the Peterborough Chamber of Commerce’s 4 Under 40 award, and two Member of the Year honours from the Women’s Business Network.
During the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Ashley created the East City Community Hub, an online platform that connected neighbours, shared vital resources, and fostered grassroots support when it was needed most. That initiative became a foundation for continued community-building work.
Ashley has since led and supported initiatives including the East City Yard Sale, Neighbourhood Networks, and East City CARE—Community Action for Resilience in Emergencies. She brings practical experience, collaborative leadership, and a deep belief that resilient communities are built when people feel connected, heard, and empowered to contribute.
