A major event is returning to Lindsay this weekend.
The Lindsay Exhibition opens Saturday and runs until September 27th.
While crowds clamour for the food, entertainment, competitions, truck pulls and derbies, Jeff Tompkins, General Manager of the Lindsay Ag Society, says agriculture is at the heart of the fair and the community.
Tomkins says between 50 and 60,000 people attend the LEX each fall, putting in the top five fairs in Ontario.
