The annual Business Excellence Awards Gala has a well-deserved reputation as the night of nights for attendees, and that promises to be no different come October 22nd.
Hosted for a 23rd year by the Peterborough + Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce at Kawartha Downs, the awards will again recognize businesses, entrepreneurs, leaders and organizations for their contributions to the local economy and the community at large.
Chamber president and CEO Brenda Whitehead says beyond its core purpose of recognizing award recipients, the event serves another important purpose.
Speaking to the return to a formal gala-style of the event, Whitehead says that was decided upon based on feedback the chamber heard.
With the return to a more formal gala event, Whitehead says the format will be different but no less celebratory.
Individual tickets range from $115 to $125, depending on seating, while premium table sponsorships are available for $1,500.
Tickets purchased by September 18th will be entered into a draw for prizes from local merchants. The deadline to purchase tickets is October 8th. Visit www.pkchamber.ca/events for tickets.
