As summer draws closer to being in our rear-view mirror, there remains plenty to be excited over in terms of the fall season and its abundance of seasonal offerings for visitors and residents alike.
That’s the word from Ryley Gutoskie, tourism and communications advisor with The Kawarthas Tourism, who feels the momentum generated by a very busy summer tourism-wise will carry over into autumn.
Speaking to tourism activity over the past few months, Gutoskie says there’s much to celebrate.
Now, as thoughts turn to the fall, Gutoskie says each of the local townships have plenty to offer in terms of visitor experiences and natural beauty. That includes Douro-Dummer, which Gutoskie terms “a rising star” in terms of its attractions and attributes.
Gutoskie urges area residents to get out and discover, or re-discover, all the region has to offer, whether that’s in Douro-Dummer or any one of the townships.
