A 36-year-old Little Britain man is facing charges following an investigation at Balsam Lake Provincial Park.
City of Kawartha Lakes OPP say officers were called to the park in Bexley Township at approximately 8:24 p.m. on Monday, August 17, after receiving reports from concerned campers about a man in the campground.
As part of the investigation, officers returned to Balsam Lake Provincial Park on Tuesday, August 18, and arrested a 36-year-old man.
The accused has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference under the Criminal Code.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
OPP are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has video footage from the area around the time it occurred to contact investigators at 1-888-310-1122 and reference incident number E261190742.

The allegations have not been proven in court.
