Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating after an OPP vehicle was involved in a three-vehicle collision in Kawartha Lakes.
The crash happened shortly after 2 p.m. Friday on Highway 35 near Royal Cedar Road in Somerville Township.
Three people, including an OPP officer, were injured and taken to hospital.
The OPP notified the SIU, which has invoked its mandate and is now investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
