A 27-year-old Peterborough man wanted on two warrants was arrested Thursday night after calls of suspicious activity.
At approximately 11:40 p.m. on August 13, officers were called to the area of Erskine Avenue and The Queensway about suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers located two men in the area matching the description given to police. Through investigation it was learned that one of the men was wanted on warrants for failing to appear in court.
As a result, a 27-year-old Peterborough man was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants. He is being held in custody and will appear in court today, August 14.
