What was left of a Peterborough home destroyed by fire four years ago has been demolished today, Aug. 10, in the City’s west end.
An investigation into the fire led to the arrest of a 71-year-old Peterborough man in September 2022. The property has remained vacant since.
“Working with the City’s Legislative Services department, it has been a very long four years getting to the point where this house could finally be demolished, and it’s wonderful to see that day finally arrive,” said Monaghan Ward Councillor Matt Crowley in the West End PTBO Facebook group.
