The Rotary Club of Peterborough is inviting the community to join the fun Monday as it promotes an upcoming golf tournament supporting Five Counties Children’s Centre.
The club is hosting a Putting Challenge at its regular lunch meeting at the McDonnell Activity Centre, located at 577 McDonnell Street in Peterborough.
The event is being held to help build excitement for the club’s upcoming ‘Fore The Kids Golf Tournament’, taking place September 17 at Katchiwano Golf Club.
The tournament will raise funds in support of Five Counties Children’s Centre and the community work of Rotary.
The Rotary Club says it is still looking for golfers and sponsors to take part in the September event.
Monday’s putting challenge will feature a number of competitors, with the club inviting media and community members to attend, capture the fun and learn more about the tournament.
