What’s good in Peterborough? Kiwanis Club of Scott’s Plains presents second annual Lemonade Stand Day in support of Riverview Park and Zoo

For the second year, Peterborough area kids and their families will be setting up lemonade stands in the City and County to support the Riverview Park and Zoo. 

Participants, or ‘Lemonaders,’ will receive everything they need to set up their stands, including lemonade mix, signage and cups.  

PTBOToday spoke with Kiwanian Greg McLeod, who said Lemonade Stand Day started last year as a way to celebrate the Kiwanis Club’s 50th anniversary while continuing to give back to the community. 

All proceeds earned will go towards supporting Canada’s only free accredited zoo.
