Peterborough’s Five Counties Children’s Centre has again come away the big winner from Little Lakers Night.
On July 16th at the Memorial Centre, the Peterborough Century 21 Lakers hosted Five Counties client families for a fourth time, the end result being more than $19,000 raised via donations and an auction of Lakers jerseys.
The record-setting funds raised support Five Counties’ Building Abilities for Life Campaign, which allows more kids and youths in the region to access life-changing services when the need them.
Several Five Counties clients and their families were on hand, including the Hyde family, who took part in the ceremonial pre-game ball drop. Elizabeth, Isabelle and Edward Hyde have each received services provided by Five Counties.
