Peterborough residents have until Monday to weigh in on the City’s new Economic Development Strategic Plan.
The City is inviting the public to complete an online survey before it closes at 11:59 p.m. on Monday. The survey is available at connectptbo.ca/EcDevStratPlan, with paper copies also available at Service Peterborough inside City Hall.
The plan will help guide Peterborough’s economic growth and investment priorities from 2027 to 2032, focusing on supporting local businesses, attracting investment, encouraging entrepreneurship, strengthening the workforce and creating long-term economic opportunities.
City officials say community feedback will help ensure the strategy reflects local priorities and provides a roadmap for sustainable economic growth.
The strategy follows the City’s transition of economic development services at the beginning of 2025.
