A 63-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a propane explosion at a golf course in Otonabee-South Monaghan on Wednesday afternoon.
Peterborough County OPP, along with local firefighters and paramedics, were called to a golf course on Villiers Line at about 3 p.m. after reports of an explosion involving propane.
Police say the injured man, from Warkworth, was taken by ambulance from the scene before being airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital for treatment.
The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development has been notified and is assisting with the investigation.
Police have not released any additional details.
