The installation of a public art project at the Peterborough transit terminal will see up to two bus bays closed at any given time over the next four weeks.
The work is being done in sections, starting at the terminal’s west end before moving through bus bays to the terminal’s east end.
To accommodate the installation, bus routes that normally use the bays closed down will stop on Simcoe Street. Passengers are advised to follow signs indicating which bus bays are closed at any given time.
Budgeted at $100,000, the Simcoe Street Transit Terminal Public Art Project is seeing commissioned art work added to the exterior of the terminal as part of a broader terminal rehabilitation project.
