A 36-year-old Peterborough man is facing several charges after police investigated reports of disturbing behaviour at a city residence.
The Peterborough Police Service says officers spoke with a resident on July 8 who reported ongoing incidents involving a neighbour. Police reviewed video evidence showing a series of alleged incidents during the early morning hours of July 7, including the suspect knocking on the victim’s windows, yelling and exposing himself toward the home.
Officers later located the suspect in the area of Hunter and Mark streets and arrested him without incident.
Police say a search following the arrest resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cocaine.
The man has been charged with committing an indecent act, possession of a Schedule I substance and disobeying a court order.
Investigators say the accused was already bound by a court order requiring him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on July 9.
