Ontario Provincial Police in the City of Kawartha Lakes is asking for witnesses to come forward following a serious two-vehicle collision on County Road 8.
Police say the crash happened shortly before 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, when an eastbound passenger vehicle and a transport truck with trailer collided.
A passenger in the vehicle was transported to a Toronto trauma centre with serious injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing. Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage from the area to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
