STUFF TO DO
Tuesday: The City of Peterborough presents the second annual Canada Day Eve Family Movie Night, screening “Gnomeo & Juliet” beginning around dusk at Quaker Foods City Square (Charlotte Street east of Alymer Street) Come for 7:30 p.m. to listen to live music and grab some snacks.
Tuesday: Thinking of retiring, closing or selling your business? Kawartha Lakes Small Business Centre is offering a free, virtual workshop starting at 10 a.m. to guide you through the ins and outs of the process. Reserve your spot at the Eventbrite page.
Wednesday: Peterborough’s Canada Day parade is set to begin at 10 a.m. downtown, and residents are invited to cheer on participants who will be rolling, strolling and celebrating as the parade travels south along George Street.
Wednesday: The Canada Day festivities continue with Neon Nostalgic performing on the Peterborough Musicfest stage. The show begins at 8 p.m. at Del Crary Park with celebratory fireworks to follow starting at around 9:30 p.m.
