A crosswalk honouring veterans will be unveiled this Saturday (June 20) in Lakefield.
The crosswalk, located in front of Memorial Hall on Queen Street at Albert Street, will be unveiled at 10 a.m.
Among those expected to attend are Peterborough-Kawartha MPP Dave Smith, Selwyn mayor Sherry Senis and a Royal Canadian Legion Colour Party. The crosswalk is a joint project involving Peterborough County, Selwyn Township and the Royal Canadian Legion.
