The Peterborough Petes have added a highly regarded forward to their prospect pipeline, selecting Landon Roulston with the 13th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection.
General manager and vice-president of operations Michael Oke says this is the type of player that will have a big impact on the lineup.
Roulston, a six-foot-one centreman from Oakville, spent the 2025-26 season with the Vaughan Kings U16 program in the Greater Toronto Hockey League. He recorded 18 goals and 20 assists for 38 points in 33 regular-season games, finishing second in team scoring.
Roulston says this is an incredible experience.
Following his selection, Roulston expressed his excitement about joining one of the OHL’s most storied franchises.
Oke said the organization tracked Roulston closely throughout the season and is eager to see him at development camp.
