Residents will have an opportunity next week to help shape the future of two Peterborough neighbourhood parks through a pair of public drop-in sessions hosted by the City.
The sessions, scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, at the Miskin Law Community Complex, will gather public feedback on potential improvements to Glenn Pagett Park and Whitefield Park.
The drop-in session for Glenn Pagett Park will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by the Whitefield Park session from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
City officials are encouraging residents, park users and nearby neighbours to attend and share ideas on upgrades, amenities and other improvements that could enhance the parks for years to come.
Those unable to attend in person can still participate by completing online surveys and reviewing project information through the City’s Connect Peterborough engagement platform.
Feedback collected through the consultations will help guide future planning and development for both parks.
More information about the Glenn Pagett Park project is available through the Connect Peterborough website, while details and survey information for Whitefield Park can also be found online.
The public engagement sessions will take place at the Miskin Law Community Complex, located at 271 Lansdowne St. W. in Peterborough.
