A 72-year-old Janetville man has died following a single-vehicle collision in Manvers Township, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
City of Kawartha Lakes OPP officers were called to Century Farms Road at approximately 5:24 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, after reports of an off-road collision involving a single vehicle.
Police say the driver, a 72-year-old man from Janetville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
As part of the investigation, Century Farms Road was closed between Gray Road and Highway 7A for several hours. Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team assisted with the investigation. The roadway has since reopened.
The cause of the collision has not been released, and investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
