The Peterborough Senior Ladies SloPitch marked the start of their 25th season with an opening ceremony celebration at East City Bowl.
The ceremony on Wednesday brought together players from teams including Southcrest Farms, Sparkies Electric, Trentview, Archies, Wellness Chef, Crossman’s, Kristine Laufer and Crook & Coffer.
President of the Senior Ladies SloPitch Darlene Charlton reflects on the league’s growth over the years as they enter this milestone season.
Executive Member Lisa Oelke tells PTBOTODAY.ca this is an exciting time, but there is a tribute being paid as well.
