The City of Peterborough will celebrate local residents and organizations during the 2025 Civic Awards ceremony.
The annual event is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday at the McDonnel Street Community Centre and is open to the public.
The Civic Awards recognize individuals and teams for achievements and contributions made throughout 2025 in areas such as athletics, arts and culture, volunteerism, environmental stewardship and community betterment.
According to the city, awards will be presented across 12 categories honouring residents and volunteers whose efforts have made a significant impact on the community.
