Peterborough Police Service is investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred Saturday evening in a residential school zone on Marsdale Drive.
Police say the collision happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. on May 9, when a vehicle travelling at an estimated speed of up to 90 km/h lost control and struck a parked vehicle in a residential driveway.
Investigators say the driver did not remain at the scene following the crash.
The incident occurred in an area designated as a school zone, raising additional safety concerns for nearby residents.
Police believe the suspect vehicle is an early 2000s silver Chevrolet sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Cobalt.
The Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation and is asking for assistance from the public to help identify the vehicle and driver involved.
