Pavement crack sealing work is underway at multiple locations across Peterborough as the city begins seasonal road maintenance expected to continue through fall 2026.
City crews are routing and sealing cracks in asphalt surfaces on several streets as part of annual work aimed at extending road life and preventing water from seeping into pavement and the structure below.
The city says no road closures are expected during the work.
However, motorists may encounter short delays, flagging operations and temporary lane reductions in active work zones.
Officials say pavement crack sealing will take place on several streets and road sections throughout the city over the coming months.
