Monday: Ross Memorial Hospital community town hall – Coboconk — Ross Memorial Hospital hosts a free community town hall from 6–7:30 pm at the Coboconk Community Centre. Led by RMH President and CEO Veronica Nelson, the session focuses on the future of healthcare in Kawartha Lakes, including updates on local health initiatives and Ontario Health Teams, along with community-specific input from Summit Wellness Centre.
Tuesday: The Scale Blueprint: Building Your Growth Infrastructure — Innovation Cluster hosts a virtual workshop from 11 am to 12 pm on Zoom (registration required and subject to approval). The session is designed for founders and product leaders ready to scale, covering how to assess product-market fit, build the technical and operational foundations for growth, and avoid common scaling mistakes.
Tuesday: Home Improvement Workshops — Habitat for Humanity Peterborough & Kawartha Region hosts hands-on DIY home improvement workshops on Tuesdays from 7–9 pm at 3001 Lakefield Rd., Peterborough (former ReStore location in Lakefield). Open to adults of all skill levels, the series offers practical learning in a supportive environment, with registration fees supporting Habitat for Humanity PKR’s affordable housing work in the community.
Tuesday: Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Pain — A free six-week workshop series designed to help people manage chronic pain conditions such as arthritis, musculoskeletal injuries, and neuropathy. Sessions run at McDonnel Street Community Centre on select Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 12 pm beginning April 27, with additional dates including May 5, May 19 and May 26.
Tuesday: Newcomer, Immigrant and Racialized Communities Listening Session — A community consultation takes place from 6–8 pm at the New Canadians Centre. The free session invites residents to share experiences around culture, belonging, access, and inclusion to help inform Peterborough’s future Cultural Plan, with a focus on equity, representation, and participation.
