A 19-year-old Peterborough woman is facing several charges after police say a two-vehicle collision on Raymond Street was intentional.
Officers were called to the area around 9:30 p.m. Saturday for reports of a crash involving two vehicles.
Police say investigators determined one of the vehicles had been struck on purpose by the second vehicle, which then fled the scene.
The occupants of both vehicles were known to each other, according to police.
Following an investigation, officers located the driver of the second vehicle around 4:30 a.m. Sunday near Parkhill Road and George Street.
A woman was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, mischief causing property damage, dangerous operation, failing to remain, failing to comply with a release order and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
The accused was held in custody and appeared in Weekend and Statutory Holiday court on Sunday.
