Police are investigating after a 14-year-old boy died following an all-terrain vehicle rollover on an off-road trail.
Northumberland OPP say they were called to the scene on Wednesday afternoon, at about 4:15, after receiving reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers say the teen, from the Municipality of Trent Hills, was taken to hospital in Campbellford, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police say the trail was closed for several hours between Burnbrae Road East and Loucks Road while investigators examined the scene, with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigation and Reconstruction teams.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or video footage to contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
