Monday: New Directions in Trauma Care and Mental Health — Hosted by the Trent/Fleming School of Nursing from 9:30 am to 12 pm at Trent University, the session features keynote speaker Dr. Margaret McKinnon and a panel of clinicians and researchers discussing innovations in trauma care, brain health, and implications for patient care across diverse populations and settings.
Monday: No More Silent Battles – Film screening and discussion — Mark Street United Church hosts a free screening and discussion of the 2025 documentary No More Silent Battles from 7–9:30 pm. The film follows four families navigating dementia care and explores the emotional and practical challenges of the condition, along with the importance of community support and improved home-care systems.
Tuesday: Kollab in The Kawarthas — A networking and collaboration event hosted by the Peterborough County Economic Development Team from 8:30 am to 4 pm at Elmhirst’s Resort in Keene. The full-day session brings together tourism and local business leaders for presentations, a panel discussion, and networking opportunities focused on growing the visitor economy. Includes guest speaker Justin La Fontaine from Destination Ontario and a buffet lunch.
Tuesday: Learning in Leisure Spring 2026 Speaker Series – John Boyko & Kevin Callan — Running from 9 am to noon at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, the session is part of a member-run lifelong learning program featuring two guest speakers and a coffee-and-cookie break. Cost is $50 for the full 10-week series or $7 for occasional guests. The venue is wheelchair accessible with an elevator, and attendees are asked to bring their own coffee mug.
Tuesday: Men of The Deeps – Diamond Sunset Tour — Presented by Bobo Link Productions at 7:30 pm at Showplace Performance Centre. The world-famous Cape Breton miners’ chorus celebrates 60 years of music and storytelling, featuring a mix of classic favourites, new arrangements, and original works that blend history, culture, and choral performance. Tickets are $64.
