Police in Peterborough County have laid multiple impaired driving-related charges following several incidents at the start of April.
According to the OPP, one case on April 1st began with a report of a fail-to-remain collision on Dummer-Asphodel Road in Douro-Dummer Township. Officers say the driver left the scene and was later located at a residence in Norwood.
Police allege the driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. The accused later failed to provide required breath samples and faces additional charges, including mischief after allegedly triggering an alarm system at the detachment.
A 39-year-old Norwood resident is scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on June 2nd.
