Tuesday: April TBX with POI — Networking event hosted by the Peterborough and Kawarthas Chamber of Commerce from 4–6 pm at POI Business Interiors in downtown Peterborough. Free for Chamber members. Enjoy networking with local business professionals, refreshments, conversation, and door prize opportunities.
Tuesday: Learning in Leisure Spring 2026 Speaker Series – Jacob Rodenburg & Dave Ellis — 9 am to noon at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, 1140 St. Paul’s St., Peterborough. Full 10-week session costs $50; occasional guests $7 per session. Learning in Leisure is a member-run program for adults who enjoy lifelong learning. Each week features two guest speakers and a coffee-and-cookie social break. The venue is wheelchair accessible with an elevator, and attendees are asked to bring their own coffee mug.
Wednesday: Spring Watercolour Magnolia Class — Join a free spring-themed watercolour painting session with artist Valerie Kent from 1–3 pm at Applewood Retirement Residence. Suitable for all skill levels. For more information, contact Karen at 705‑749‑1500 or kwilliams@levliving.com.
Wednesday: The Poetry of Being — Art exhibition by Rowena Dykins at ECCO Art Gallery Studios in Lakefield. Running April 8 to May 16, with the opening reception on Saturday, April 11, from 1–4 pm. Gallery hours: Wednesday–Saturday 11 am–5 pm, Sunday 12–4 pm. The show features new abstract paintings, including works from Dykins’ Breaching Whales series.
Wednesday: Entrepreneurship 101: Appear First – Search Engine Optimization & E-Comm — Free session from 12–1:30 pm at VentureNorth, Lower Level Board Room. Hosted by Community Futures Peterborough, it’s a chance to learn strategies to improve online visibility and e-commerce sales.

Tuesday: New Players – Free Stick Pick-Up — The PMLA invites first-time registrants to collect a free lacrosse stick as part of the new player program. Pick-up is at Kinsmen Arena from 6 to 8 pm. This is for new first-time registered players only.
