A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a collision involving a pickup truck in Pontypool.
Members of the Ontario Provincial Police from the City of Kawartha Lakes detachment say the crash happened April 3rd, shortly before 4 p.m. on Highway 35 at Pontypool Road.
Police say officers were dispatched to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving a motorcycle. Upon arrival, they located the rider suffering from serious injuries. The individual was transported by air ambulance to a Toronto-area hospital.
Highway 35 was closed for several hours between Drum Road and Sandy Hook Road as investigators examined the scene. The roadway has since reopened.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
