It was another successful outing for those involved in the Easter Seals Telethon.
The annual broadcast took place on Sunday, once again featuring many well-known names including: Stu Harrison, Graham Hart, Mike Melnik and Catherine Hanrahan.
Manager of Development Central Easter Seals Ontario, Charlene Myke, says Peterborough once again stepped up to help out local kids.
Myke adds this is always a day she looks forward to.
A final exact total is still being determined but organizers confirm more than $75,000 has been raised. Myke says this money will help in several ways.
For over 100 years, the organization has been a leading provider of programs and services for young people with physical disabilities in Ontario.
