A St. Patrick’s Day enforcement effort saw hundreds of drivers stopped across the region.
Officers with the Peterborough Police Service conducted a RIDE detail Tuesday night, setting up at three locations, including one in Cavan-Monaghan Township and two within Peterborough.
In total, 397 vehicles were stopped, with 22 roadside tests administered. All drivers who were tested passed.
Police are reminding drivers that impaired is impaired and to plan ahead for a safe ride home.
They also thanked residents who report suspected impaired drivers and encourage anyone who believes they are witnessing impaired driving to call 9-1-1.
