The chance to win some serious cash while helping animals in need is being offered by the Lakefield Animal Welfare Society.
From March 19th until April 30th, tickets for the society’s Love in Bloom 50/50 Raffle are available online at https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/laws5050. The winning ticket will be drawn on April 30th at 2 p.m.
Lyndsay Lisson-De Ell is the Selwyn-based shelter’s operations director. She says the fundraising raffle comes at a particularly important time.
As a non-profit receiving no government funding, the shelter, says Lisson-De Ell, is wholly reliant on community support.
Lisson De-Ell says she and her shelter colleagues are buoyed daily by the community’s support.
