After a shootout loss in Windsor on Thursday night, the Petes continued their swing through South Western Ontario/Michigan with a stop in Saginaw to face the Spirit.
While Saginaw was looking to end a three game losing skid and cement their spot in the post season, the Petes were looking for the two points to regain a three point lead on the Battalion who had the night off.
