A 56-year-old Peterborough man is facing an assault charge following an incident last Wednesday.
Police say officers were called around 11:00 am on February 11 to the area of Marsh Avenue and Broadway Boulevard.
A City of Peterborough public works employee had been plowing snow on the sidewalk when a resident opened the door of the plow and twice tried to remove the employee’s earplugs and earbuds.
Officers received a video of the incident on Friday, which led to the man’s arrest. He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on May 12.
