The Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation is recognizing a $25,000 donation from Armada Toolworks Ltd. in support of the WE ARE THE ROSS capital campaign.
Armada Toolworks, a Lindsay-based manufacturer of custom automotive components, presented the donation to help fund priority investments at Ross Memorial Hospital.
Company president Chris Van Den Berg formally presented the cheque to foundation CEO Erin Coons. Team members Connie Brown, Dan Desousa, Pat Lownsbrough and Richard Hammill joined in marking the contribution and its impact on patient care in Kawartha Lakes.
The WE ARE THE ROSS campaign supports key hospital projects, including expansion of the emergency department and intensive care unit, as well as upgrades to diagnostic technology and bedside equipment. The foundation notes that these investments are not fully covered by government funding.
“We’re grateful to have their support for critical investments that are not covered by government funding,” Coons said. “As our community grows, it is donors who ensure our services and spaces grow, too.”
