The Peterborough Theatre Guild season continues, with a witty and heartfelt comedy written by city native Dave Carley coming to the Guild Hall.
Opening February 27th, Midnight Madness is a fast-paced, funny and touching story about ambition, second chances and love found in the most unlikely of places, that being the upstairs bed department of a going-out-of-business furniture store.
At the production’s helm as director is Jane Werger, who has directed a number of plays over several years. She says this play features several references that reflect the playwright’s earlier connection to Peterborough.
Werger adds Carley’s script brings out “some social things” that will strike a chord.
As excited as she is for opening night, Werger says the journey is what still excites her most.
Midnight Madness will continue until March 14th. For tickets, visit www.peterboroughtheatreguild.com.
